Editing
How does it work?
Captioneer pushes text and timing data from captions to .mogrts.
.mogrts are fully customizable inside the Premiere Pro timeline, Properties panel, Essential Graphics panel, and the Text panel.

Troubleshooting
Fonts in the MOGRTs aren't syncing.
A Yellow T symbol on the .mogrt thumbnail inside the Graphics Templates or Essential Graphics panel means the default .mogrt font is not synced to your computer.
All Captioneer MOGRTs use fonts from Adobe Fonts to trigger font auto-sync and allow manual syncing.
Go to Essential Graphics > Browse and drag the .mogrt onto the timeline. Auto-sync process will begin in Creative Cloud app.
Hit the "i" icon in bottom-right to see the name of the font. Go to fonts.adobe.com and manually sync the font.
My text isn't appearing.
Make sure the font is synced and supports characters for your chosen language (i.e Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, etc). Check other fonts by using the font dropdown inside the .mogrt.
Premiere playback stopped working.
On Windows there is a bug that can pause playback after drag+drop of files. Click outside Premiere Pro (ex. onto taskbar or Desktop) and then click back inside Premiere to resume normal playback.
I received an error: "Selected MOGRT file is not valid or not compatible with the current version of Premiere Pro."
Default Captioneer .mogrts are built for Premiere Pro 2025. For older versions of Premiere, you can download the free 2022+ Legacy MOGRTs.
I received another error code.

Purchases
Where is my license code?
Your license code is provided in your email receipt and in My Orders. If you purchased from aescripts.com, your license code is in the aescripts My Downloads & Licenses.
How many licenses do I get?
Each license allows 1 active computer. You can move licenses between machines at any time.
How can I move my license between computers?
Use the online License Manager or aescripts Downloads & Licenses portal.
Or go to Settings > Remove License to deactivate your license code and then activate it on the other computer.
I started with Subscription but I really like it. Can I switch to Lifetime?
Of course!
Purchase a Lifetime license
In the Captioneer Settings, hit "Remove License" to remove your Subscription license
Activate the Lifetime license in Captioneer
Cancel the old Subscription license via LemonSqueezy Customer Portal
Is there a student discount?
We got you. Send an email with your school details and we can hook you up with a coupon.
What is the refund policy?
30-day guarantee. If you purchased a license but Captioneer doesn't suit your needs, we're happy to refund you. Email support@captioneer.tv with your license key and we'll submit a refund request to LemonSqueezy.
Other
Is it available for other editing software, like DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro?
No. Captioneer is exclusively for Premiere Pro because Motion Graphics Templates (.mogrts) are only available within the Adobe ecosystem.
